Investment Priority
Don't waste scrap on every weapon. Focus on these in order:
Your first major investment. Reliable damage, good range for a shotgun. Max this first.
Consistent DPS machine. The fully black automatic shotgun is incredibly reliable.
THE best investment in the game. Devastating burst damage. Worth every scrap.
High sustained damage for late game. Good for players who like machine guns.
Best melee weapon. Pairs perfectly with ranged loadout as your melee option.
Optimal Loadouts
Recommended by wave 200+ players. Requires Wastelander perk for third slot.
Triple shotgun setup. Got a player to solo wave 119. Very consistent.
If you don't have extra weapon slot. Strong combination of ranged and melee.
Pyro class required. Incendiary fire stacks melt bosses in one magazine.
Weapon Tips
- 💡Shotguns are the best weapon type overall. Focus on them.
- 💡Plasma Laser used to be good but now underperforms. Skip it.
- 💡Incendiary Shotgun is the best boss killer due to stacking fire damage.
- 💡Melee weapons are good backup but risky as primary.
- 💡Don't invest in every weapon - focus on your core loadout.
- 💡Mystery box duplicates give scrap - not always bad!
- 💡Scavenger 2nd perk rerolls duplicates to new weapons.
Common Questions
Gatling Laser is better for sustained damage. Plasma Rifle is okay early but gets outclassed.
