Pro tips for reaching wave 100 and beyond.
Reaching Wave 100+
Players have reached wave 200+. Here's what the pros do:
Pathfinder + Wastelander 3rd perk is essential. The skill scaling is what carries you past wave 100.
2x Legendary Damage and +5 Gun Damage are game-changers. Stack as many as possible.
Fully upgraded Plasma Shotgun and Gatling Laser are non-negotiable for high waves.
Never stop moving. Circle the map, kite enemies, and never get cornered.
Solo vs Co-op
- • Engineer turret is valuable for extra DPS
- • Focus on survivability skills
- • Take your time, no rush
- • Learn enemy spawn patterns
- • Wave 119 solo is achievable
- • Coordinate class choices
- • One Engineer for turret support
- • Revive teammates quickly
- • Split up to avoid AoE
- • Focus fire on bosses together
Boss Fight Tactics
Each shot adds a burn stack. One full magazine can kill most bosses due to stacking fire damage over time.
In co-op, everyone should focus the boss. Clear adds only if they're overwhelming you.
Bosses have powerful attacks. Stay mobile, dodge attacks, and create distance when needed.
Don't use health items on regular waves. Save them for boss fights where you need them most.
Pro Tips from Wave 100+ Players
"The 10% super skill chance from Pathfinder doesn't feel like 10%. I've had 4-5 waves in a row with super skills. It might be accumulative."

"Engineer feels like having an extra player. The turret damage adds up over 100 waves."
- All Gold Classes Player
"Boxer is broken with good connection. If you have lag, don't bother - go Warrior instead."

Advanced Mistakes to Avoid
- ✗Not rerolling for the right bonus perk - it's worth the scrap investment.
- ✗Ignoring super skills - they're what makes wave 100+ possible.
- ✗Using Boxer with bad connection - you'll die constantly.
- ✗Not maxing weapons before trying high waves.
- ✗Playing solo when you could co-op - it's much easier with friends.
- ✗Spending scrap on cosmetics instead of gameplay upgrades.
